Pano Manipulation: Creating Movement and Distorting Reality with the Pano feature on your Smart Phone!
Try out your Pano feature on your smartphone in lots of different creative ways...anything you can think, except the way it's intended to be used! By distorting reality in your Pano photo with a movement of your hand, you will create some interesting movement in your photo!
Here are a couple ideas to get you started:
1. Body Doubles- have some one stand in different parts of the picture as you pan across (if they are still, they show up, they walk quickly they do not...use that to your advantage) 2. Get glitchy- move the phone up and down, in and out... see how the glitches will create crazy collaged images or jumps in your photo, pan upward instead of across to see what happens (may need to hold your phone sideways to do this) webpage ex:content.photojojo.com/inspiration/photo-projects/how-to-make-phone-panorama-glitches/ 3. Pano Portrait- move the camera across your face (or someone else's) using your whole arm (not only your wrist). You can try glitching it by moving it up/down or in/out. check this webpage out for more info: content.photojojo.com/inspiration/pano-selfie-is-the-new-selfie/ 4. Streeeetch it out- By slowly panning across an object while it moves with your phone, it will continue to stretch across the photo (look at the example Mohammed took below of Joe's arm and the one Noah took of Ronan's legs). 5. Get Creative- come up with your own way to manipulate this feature on your phone!
Assignment Requirements: 2 Photos that YOU took onto your webpage GOOD photos- interesting and creative Your idea worked! If you tried moving someone to different parts of your photo, we see that...without issues (like a missing leg or glitchy arm) 100% effort=100% grade!
