*If you were absent on this day, you will need to take some photos...come see me!
Requirements: 1. Edit ALL photos being posted to your page as needed BEFORE putting them onto your class assignments page. Consider the following for editing purposes: -crop -lighting adjustments (levels is the best in my opinion for outdoor shots...or any photos really) -removing an object (did a stray leaf get into a cool shot of your bubbles...remove it!) -sharpening ...any other editing that may enhance the quality of the photo and make it as fantastic as possible! 2. Title the Assignment "Transportation Photos" 3. Submit your best 3 photos. You can also use the slideshow option which allows you to upload them all at once (Just do not use the Gallery option because it will only show photos wide angle). 4. Publish and post your URL to Canvas
PhotoTaking Think of your first car and how excited you were when you first got it! On the flip side, maybe you don't have a car yet and you have a "dream" car that you hope to have one day. Either way, I am sure that you will take picture of it at some point to show it off to friends and family. Today is about taking photos of cars in a unique compositional way.
1. Check out the link below. The webpage has great tips on photographing vehicles. www.ephotozine.com/article/10-tips-on-transport-photography-18820 2. Take A LOT of photos representing transportation while focusing on these key points: -good lighting -camera angle -reflection -the entire composition (the background, how the object fills the frame) Keep in mind compositional techniques: -simple backgrounds, Rule of Thirds, Leading Lines, fill the frame with the subject, use of Shallow Depth of Field on close up's 3. Your photos should NOT be photos of only the car's license plate, the car's logo...they can be IN the picture, but they should not BE the picture...
