Cropping a Photo Cropping a photo will allow you to edit unwanted background and adjust the position of your main subject matter of your photo to a different position in the photo. How to crop a photo in Photoshop: 1. Open Photoshop -click the windows button on the bottom left of the computer and choose Adobe Photoshop (start typing it in the search bar if it is not an option) 2. Choose your file -Click on the File tab at the top of Photoshop and choose the destination of your photo (documents, flashdrive, phone, etc...) *You might want to choose "View" at the top to see the actual image-choose large or extra large icons 3. choose the crop tool on the left tool bar 4. click on the photo and a grid will appear -drag grid from the corner or edge to adjust how you'd like to crop 5. Adjust the photo dimension -right click on the photo and file dimension options will appear -for printing purposes, we will save as 4x5 (8x10) unless a specific dimension is needed 6.
